Process Engineer Thin Film Technologies

You will be responsible for the development, optimization, and industrialization of Diffusion and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) processes for MEMS and micro-device applications.

About This Vacancy

You will be responsible for the development, optimization, and industrialization of Diffusion and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) processes for MEMS and micro-device applications. This includes maintaining process stability, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement in a cleanroom environment.

Process & Equipment Ownership

• Maintain and optimize Diffusion & ALD processes and equipment.
• Ensure process stability through SPC and post-maintenance qualifications.
• Develop new processes and support industrialization efforts.

Project & Collaboration

• Work in cross-functional teams (Project Managers, Sales, Engineers).
• Participate in equipment selection and define process requirements.
• Contribute to complex root cause analyses (RCAs).

Training & Documentation

• Train and support operators and technicians.
• Write and maintain process documentation and SOPs.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze data to improve process performance.
• Identify reuse opportunities and initiate new developments.
• Apply engineering tools (DOE, SPC, DMAIC/DFSS).

What We Expect From You

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
• Experience in process engineering, electroplating and industrialization.
• Experience working in or leading technological project teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Diffusion and ALD technologies is preferred.
